Keeping in with the IB philosophy of creating a balance between academics and leisure time, BNI hosts several events ensuring participation from the entire faculty and student body. These events play a pivotal role in developing and strengthening relationships with the school and local community as well as providing our young learners with a platform to fulfill their need for extracurriculars, sports, and recreation. The International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC)
The International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) consists of a Multiple Choice Questionnaire directed towards building the understanding of how mathematics applies in nature’s laws and in humans’ lives. In the 2019 competition, out of 38 students taking the test, 30 of them won in the categories of 2-Star Badge, 1-Star Badge, and Special Ball Point.

The International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC)
The International Kangaroo Linguistics Contest (IKLC) brings together the linguistic pedagogical experience from a number of countries and aims to promote a good communication culture, which is crucial for thriving in today’s world. In 2019, 48 students participated in the test, out of which 46 won in categories of 2-Star Badge, 1-Star Badge, and Key To Success. An exceptional achievement was the four Bronze Medals bagged by our PYP students ranging from Year 2 – Year 5.

HRCA English & Science Thrilling Quiz
HRCA English & Science Thrilling Quiz is a nationwide competition that provides students with the opportunity to compete in English & Science Quiz contests against and alongside their peers. From a multiple-choice questionnaire, testing their literary and scientific abilities in the Preliminary round, 13 participants from BNI successfully got to the final stage.
Dawn In Education - National Spelling Bee
Dawn In Education – National Spelling Bee is designed to help students improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn new concepts, and develop the correct usage of the English language. BNI’s exceptional spellers participated in all three categories of the Spelling Bee in 2019 (9-11, 12-14, 15-17).

Beaconhouse International Student Convention (BISC)
Beaconhouse International Student Convention (BISC) envisions to bring our worldwide network of schools together to create a global community of students and teachers who can learn from one another. This convention includes a diverse array of sporting, art, science, and cultural activities where Beaconhouse students from various countries come together and compete on an international stage. BNI students participated in the Steam section (regional round) of BISC 2020. They took part in the Art Installation (BISC Art), Science Project (BISC Exploratoria), Singing Challenge (BISC Idol), BISC Quiz, Panel Discussion (BISC Talks), and the Postcard Design Competition (BISC Connections).
ArtBeat National Child Art Competition (The Little Art)
ArtBeat National Child Art Competition (The Little Art) celebrates youth artists through exhibitions and art events and cash prizes. In 2019, 23 students participated in this competition and portrayed their vision of Diversity. Two of our entrees were awarded the Prize of Honor and their work was exhibited at The Little Art Exhibition held in February 2020.

WWF-Pakistan Spellathon
WWF-Pakistan Spellathon inculcates reading habits among students of grades 1 to 8. The WWF’s team provides stories to the students, which touches upon the environmental issues of Pakistan. BNI students obtained a number of resources and material by WWF-Pakistan and participated in a Spelling Competition for charity, as part of their social responsibility measures.
TCF Art-A-Thon (The Citizens Foundation)
TCF Art-A-Thon (The Citizens Foundation) is a city-wide art competition that raises funds for The Citizens Foundation (TCF). TCF is a non-profit organization that provides education to underprivileged children. Incorporated in 1995, TCF has 1,060 purpose-built schools across Pakistan, with an enrolment of 165,000 students. A total of 35 BNI students participated in this Art-A-Thon, portraying their creativity on topics such as A Family Holiday, Favourite Fairytale/Cartoon Character, Book Cover Design, Save Our Earth.
IB DP students, while conducting their CAS activities, participate in Clean Green events, Cancer awareness events, and Walk for the visually impaired.
