MS Word Custom Paper Sizes
You can select from a range of properties to modify the size of your printed materials. You have four options to change these properties. They are labeled Alignment, Margins, Base size, and Color. In addition, there is an optional third property, that is useful if plan on using write essays multiple copies of the same document.
Press the right arrow button on the keyboard to open the Customized paper properties dialog box. This button can be found in the main menu of your printer. Under Alignment, you’ll see four options: Home, Center, Right-Fit, and Offset. By choosing one of these four choices you can change the alignment of your personalized paper to a new location on your printer.
For more detailed information about custom paper sizes and their effects on printing, refer to ” Printing” and then “Settings”. At the bottom of this window you will see a word that is referred to as ” Population settings”. The numbers in this text indicate the number of people in your target market who will be exposed to your advertisement. Click on the appropriate number to alter the settings. Type in the values, then hit OK to alter the settings.
Alignment This is the central point of page placement. Microsoft Word is actually set up to determine the location of your text based upon your current window position. The numbers in the top left corner represent the alignments that you can choose to modify your document. There are three alignment options: Home, Center, or Offset. Click on the appropriate number to change the alignment of your document.
Drop-down lists – You can alter the color scheme for your customized sizes of paper by selecting the drop-down below the scale option. The list includes a combination of solid and dotted colors. The scale will automatically adjust to the color you select when you select it from the list. Click on the color you want to change and then click the OK button to alter the color scheme.
Two-Column AutoShaper – You can adapt your document to the perfect 2 column format by using the autoShaper for two columns. To accomplish this, click on “semble” next to “flows”. The “flows tab offers a number of useful features, including page centering and justification, as well as custom page size control and tools for alignment. These tools are accessible by clicking on the icons. To change the layouts, all you need to do is click the “link” icon.
Preset Colors – On older printers, you might need to enter the color you want each page to print in manually. However, modern printers let you set a custom paper size from various preset colors. Click on “color” to open the color palette. A list of colors will appear. Click on the color you want to alter your color choices. To return to the color palette, click on the “back” button.
Changing the paper size setup in your printer driver must be simple and quick. These tips will help you navigate the different options and settings that your printer driver can provide. Modifying your paper information setting will help make sure your documents are the right dimensions to fit your computer.
When you open the Print Server dialog box you will be presented with the following options: Current Paper Settings that will display all the currently configured custom paper sizes. Double-click “current size” to display the current range of sizes as well as their numbers. The number you select will determine the maximum and minimum sizes your document can be. If you wish to extend your document, choose the “stretch” tab and enter a number between zero and nine.
To update your paper’s size information, select “print” from the main menu and click print settings. A dialog box for updating will be displayed. Click ” ok.” To update the printer configuration choose “print” from the main menu. Then select the print settings tab. You will now see a new set.
You’ll need to open the Print Server dialog box once more then click the “add button” and enter a number between 1 and 9 and click “ok.” Before you click the “apply” button you can alter the settings from the current setting. In a matter of seconds, you will have a choice of custom paper sizes and all of them are available to use in your document. If you find this to be too complicated or want to reduce time and create only one document that has different dimensions, then you can always choose “set number” and choose a size that is convenient within the range you specified in the previous step.
